I absolutely love it! And it sure beats spending around $600 for a king sized headboard!
Here's what you need...
-76 in wide by 28 in high plywood (or any wood will do) Mine was around $13 from Lowes. Ask the salesperson to cut it for you.
-staple gun and staples
-drill
-keyhole fasteners (comes 2 to a box)
-box nails size 8d
-hammer
-3 yards of batting (mine was 1/4 inch thick)
-3 yards of nice fabric
-scissors

Ok here we go!
Lay out your batting on the floor and place the board on top. Leaving about 3 inches to fold on each side. Cut the excess off.
Pull tightly when you staple but not so tigh that you are moving the fabric. Staple, Staple, Staple!Take your keyhole fasteners and drill and attach to the top two corners.
Here's my trick: I put the nail into the keyhole fasteners first then gently nail the headboard in.
