I blinked and it's Christmas! Anyone else feel like this?
Seems like we were just celebrating the New Year and now we are ending it!
With Christmas just a few days away and the procrastination is has fully set in, let's chat about gifts that you can get to your front door in time for Christmas.
I feel like this year, I took a huge step back from online shopping (my husband would probably disagree with that statement HA!). I tried to be more intentional with what I was ordering so that I had few clothes with tags hanging in my closet and just fewer things in general that I was not using or wearing. I'm also trying to limit the number of toys that we have just existing in our house. Let's be real, toddlers do not play with half of the things in their rooms. For myself, I have been loving my Kindle Paperwhite! I have recently joined the Colleen Hover book bandwagon and it's been so nice to have my Kindle Paperwhite with me so that I can just pick up where I left off no matter where I am. The Kindle Paperwhite is SUPER lightweight, which I love! And, I love that I can adjust the setting to make the font larger and change the background color. Any reader in your family will get a lot of use out this. Now that I am back in school again, I've also found it SO helpful to have with me so that I can stay on top of my assigned readings. Most of the books I have needed for class were compatible with Kindle so it made keeping up with my school work a lot easier since I have a full time job (oh and a part-time and side job too) and a mom to a toddler!
When I saw these Bubble Gum Pink Reeboks, I knew I HAD to have them! I know bubble gum pink is not in the color scheme of Christmas, but Spring and Summer are right around the corner! These are so comfortable and are great to throw on for running errands with black leggings or showing off your tan with cut off jean shorts this Summer. I know that these shoes are going to get ALOT of use in the next few months!
I know you have seen these Heatless Curlers all over Instagram.. I've had these for a few months now and THEY WORK! These would be great for a stocking stuffer or ever just a stand alone gift. It's very easy to use these too. I have very fine, thin hair and I am able to keep the waves in all day!
I love a good tan! This tanning foam is my FAVORITE. Why? Because it has less "Junk" and because I love the color it gives me. When you first use it you may freak out about the initial color, it's greenish. But, when it dries, you'll have such a beautiful tan that's not orangy at all. I love this set especially because of the mitt and the brush for your face. I always skipped self tanning my face at home because I was afraid of missing a spot or it being streaky. This brush will ease your mind and give you a flawless glowing tan.
If you are like me, you love easy to throw on looks, but you want to stay within a certain price point. Well, this Distressed Jean Jacket is FIRE! I absolutely love it. I wear it all the time with leggings for an easy to put together, effortless look. I will say that it is oversized, so keep to your normal size, if you are in between sizes, size down. I wish I would have purchased a small.
This morning Devotional really made my day start off on the right foot. It's quick and insightful. Perfect for the busy mom, the working mom, or any other female on your list to buy for.

Toddlers can be tricky. There's no rhyme or reason to which toys they like! You buy a toy thinking they will love, then it sits in the toy box. They get a random toy from a fast food restaurant that you'd like to throw in the trash, but they love it and play with it everyday.. SO, these are things that Wilson has enjoyed playing with over the last year or so. One thing I really like to do when buying Christmas gifts for my son is find toys that will be used in the upcoming months and seasons. You find a lot of good summer toys on sale right now that might not get used this month, but will get a lot of use in the coming ones.
If there's one thing that Wilson love most, it's pretending he's a fireman! This Fireman Outfit is pretty legit! He wore it for Halloween, but has played in it almost every weekend since. To go with his Fireman Outfit, I've purchased this Pop Up Firetruck for him to play with. I think he's going to LOVE IT!
Wilson received a Toniebox for his birthday. I had seen them before on social media, but never really understood them. Now, I get it! If your little one begs you to watch tv before they go to sleep or wants to watch tv while falling to sleep, this is SUCH a better option. These little boxes will play full stories or full episodes of your child's favorite shows without having to have them stare at the tv. It encourages them to use their imagination and their background knowledge of the show to "see" what they are describing. Wilson loves his! You can choose from a ton of character too! Each character has it's own storyline so pick out a few to go with it! Right now Wilson is loving Octonauts, Fireman Sam, and The Grinch!
Magna-tiles are still a hit in our house! We are going on almost 3 years playing with these! Save yourself the sanity of storing these by getting this Magna-tile Set with Storage box, trust me on this. Wilson is old enough that he can put them back in the box and the box flattens out for them to use as a play mat.
Outside toys are a big deal at our house. We use this Waterslide all year round (no water during the cold months). This Dump Truck gets a lot of use too! We actually have 2 of them (one for friends). This 24-Volt Ride on Buggy is Wilson's pride and joy! We've had other ride on toys in the past but there's nothing that can compare to a 24-volt one! It goes through EVERYTHING! and it even has seatbelts and a speaker so that you can use an aux cord to play music! It's pricy but there are very few 24-volt ride on toys on the market and with this price (does charge shipping) it's the best value I have found.
