HOLY MOLY we have a potty trained 2.5 year old!

There's something about the second you hear that a child is 2 years old you automatically start thinking about potty training.  I can not even begin to tell you how many times we "tried" to potty train and just completely failed until now!

2021 Let's Do This { Trusting the Lord}

It's the first full week of 2021! How are your new year's resolutions going? So far so good here! One of my goals for 2021 was to feel more connected to myself. Part of that is working on my relationship with God. 2020 for the most part was pretty good to us....until Dec. 30th (talk about going out with a bang!). We received heartbreaking news that one of my family members has cancer. Talk about a punch in the gut. When times get hard or difficult, I (like many of us) go running to the Lord, begging and praying. So here I am..I know I don't deserve his mercy, but he is always faithful. 

Blogger Identity Crisis- Hi, it's me again!

 Here we go again...A new blog name...

Just like this title says, I am going through an identity crisis. You may or may not know this, but I've been blogging for over 4 years now.. not consistently by any means but my first post was over 4 years ago. At that time, girls were creating these cute blogs, with cute names likes, and pretty photos..and I was like yeah, I can do that too! So, I did. That's when this all started for me. My blog was originally Mrs. Southern Style, and I told NO ONE, other than my mom and my husband about it. I was so embarrassed to share with anyone that I was blogging. I cringed every time I hit "post" on an Instagram selfie or a outfit photo. Deep down, I loved it, but was so worried about what my friends and family (and the world) would think. So, I just did a post here and there...

My mind started spinning on the cute things we could do with this! Being a former elementary school teacher I love a good DIY and a craft especially when it comes to cuties things for my kid. I decided that for goodie bags this Christmas for his class, we are going to make our own Make a Gingerbread Friend kits! Ambious right?!😜

I've got to do better! I truly do love blogging and the content creation process, but man am I bad with my time management! Maybe it's just mom life problems, but I feel like there is just not enough time in the day to get anything accomplished. Anyone else?
