Life Update + The BEST Dupe!

Hi Friends! I have some exciting news that I have shared a few weeks ago on my social media! My husband and I are having a baby!! Y'all this is seriously such a blessing and we are so thankful that God chose us to raise this little baby that is growing inside me.

One reason why this is such exciting news for us is because we have been battling infertility. Months and years of prayers, many doctors visits, thousands of tears, and one fertility treatment ultimately lead us to kicking infertility's butt!!

With a baby joining our family in Aug/Sept, I've really started to panic about our finances. My mommy friends have been telling me how expensive it is to raise a child  and what it costs for daycare. One friend told me she spends $12,000 a year on daycare! SHEESH!! Soooooo....I've got to start cutting costs and saving money ASAP!

I am a proud shopaholic! So,even though I will be cutting costs and trying to save money does not mean that I am not going to still treat myself to a few things every now and then. I've just got to be a little smarter with what I buy.

One of my favorite things to do is to find dupes for the latest trends! Y'all, I've seriously out done myself with my latest dupe find! This past Spring/Summer's IT shoe is back for this Spring. I'm talking about the Marc Fisher Adalyn Espadrille Wedges. I know y'all have seen them on like EVERY fashion blogger on Instagram and Pinterest. I actually bought the REAL DEAL pair of these adorable wedges as an impulse buy late one night and immediately regretted it. There was no way to justify me spending $180 on one pair of shoes. So, when they arrived at my door, I put them on, glanced in the mirror at how cute they were, and put them back in the box to send back.

Such a sad story right?!?

I've seen the Steve Madden version of this wedge and to be honest, I really didn't just love it. Something about the look of the wedge just didn't do it for me.

So,when I a came across this dupe, I knew I HAD to have it! I mean, seriously are they not identical to the this Marc Fisher pair? And let's not forget the best part, the price! Yes, it's only $39! Which is cheaper than both the Steve Madden and the Marc Fisher pair! Plus, there are three different colors to choose from which are almost identical to the Marc Fisher colors.
