Gender Reveal: Boy or Girl?

One of my most favorite parts about being pregnant thus far is finding out the gender of our baby. We were a little impatient and decided to go to a place called Sneak a Peek that will tell you the gender of your baby once you get to a certain point in your pregnancy. It was really neat! We invited both sets of our parents to come. They have a projector that projects your ultrasound on to a large screen and couches for your guests to relax while they watch your baby wiggle in your tummy.


We decided that we wanted to be the only ones to find out the gender during our ultrasound. So, we had to be really sneaky and not let our parents find out while they were at Sneak a Peek session. Our ultrasound tech was the BEST! She had our parents distracted watching our baby opening its mouth and whispered to us the gender without them knowing.

For our reveal, we decided to do two types. We did one for our parents only and another just for my niece and nephew.

My husband played baseball his whole life and is now coaching it. I found these gender reveal baseballs on Etsy and decided that we HAD to do this. After we found out the gender at Sneak a Peek we decided that since our parent were already both in town, let's go ahead and hit our baseball off!

The second reveal that we did was just for my niece and nephew. We bought a pinata and stuffed it full with all things BLUE! Candy, bracelets, pens, toys, anything and everything that we could possibly find that was the color blue. The kids had so much fun taking turns hitting the pinata to find out if they were getting a boy cousin or a girl cousin.
