Y'all this pregnancy thing is most amazing/crazy thing I have ever experienced in my life! I can not believe that I am half way through this pregnancy! Seems just like the other day we were waiting on the phone call from my doctor to confirm my pregnancy! I am trying to really enjoy every single minute of this pregnancy and not take any bit of it for granted.

Who doesn't love make up? I know I do! But, let's be honest, sometimes it's frustrating trying to find the right foundation for your skin type or the perfect shade of lipstick that's not going to dry out your lips. Who hasn't had that moment where you look in the mirror 4 hours after you've applied your make up and been horrified at the way it looks?

Gender Reveal: Boy or Girl?

One of my most favorite parts about being pregnant thus far is finding out the gender of our baby. We were a little impatient and decided to go to a place called Sneak a Peek that will tell you the gender of your baby once you get to a certain point in your pregnancy. It was really neat! We invited both sets of our parents to come. They have a projector that projects your ultrasound on to a large screen and couches for your guests to relax while they watch your baby wiggle in your tummy.

First Trimester Favorites

Hi Friends! So I made it past the first trimester of pregnancy! Yay! I've honestly have had the easiest pregnancy so far (Thank you God!). Some of my friends are miserable with morning sickness and I can honestly say that I never had an issue with it. Only a slight nausea when I'm hungry.

Life Update + The BEST Dupe!

Hi Friends! I have some exciting news that I have shared a few weeks ago on my social media! My husband and I are having a baby!! Y'all this is seriously such a blessing and we are so thankful that God chose us to raise this little baby that is growing inside me.

Don't Be Duped!

Tis the season of spending way too much money on everything! Anyone else's wallet starting to feel some holiday pain from all the excessive spending? You too? I thought so. But, let's be honest that doesn't mean that I'm going to stop shopping anytime soon. It just means I need to shop smarter!

Tons of retailers have produced so many great dupes of the designer duds that we are all drooling over. You might look at some of these price and think, "hey, that designer ___ is not that expensive". If that's you, GREAT! But if you are like me, I can not justify spending $300+ on a pair of ankle boots that will probably go out of style next year.

So, one of my favorite place to shop for dupes is Old Navy. I actually just love Old Navy in general! You can literally shop for the whole family, even the dog! They also have tons good sales throughout the year.

When I scroll through Instagram looking at my favorite blogger/influence's outfits, I always try to find a more affordable dupe of some of their key pieces. That journey usually either leads me to Old Navy or Target.

Cozy Christmas

It's finally December!! That means it's officially all things Christmas..all day..every day! For me that actually means lounging around in pjs all day watching Hallmark Christmas movies with the AC set at cool 68 degrees. How else am I going to justify wrapping myself in a cozy blank and wearing knee high socks when it's 85 degrees outside?!

If you are like me, there is nothing better than changing into something cozy once you get off work. I literally walk in the door and yell, "Alexa, play my Christmas station on Pandora", drop my purse and immediately start stripping down to change in some comfy joggers or a cute Christmas pj set.
